The build playable begins at Fractured Peaks and ends with my hero's horse dying D2R Items, leaving him in a cave all by himself for the night. From the caves came the first destination, Nevesk, a very small town in which things aren't as they appear. Lilith was already having an effect on the people who lived there and her real influence comes from letting people indulge their dark side. It was the first time my character had with other NPCs, and it was quite clear that the developers would like to give the hero a bigger role within the story by having their own dialogue and taking an active role within the cuts.
This is the place in Nevesk where Lilith's effect on the inhabitants of Sanctuary is demonstrated. There's far more to her than simply being evil. This sets her apart as an intriguing adversary when compared to other Great Evils from earlier Diablo games. While her ultimate goal isn't obvious at first Lilith's presence can be immediately felt and was done deliberately this way by the development team.
"By having you discover her story of what's happening and her effect on the world, you'll be able to understand her motives," said game director Joe Shely. "You will be able to discern the motivations behind her and you'll feel more connected to her and maybe there's even a little hint of doubt there. you're thinking: watch Star Wars and go like maybe Vader was right. I believe that the idea of having more face time with the bad guys means that it's an incredibly satisfying ending as you go through the story as you go through it."
Diablo 4 doesn't stray from the hack-andslash action that the series is known for, however, the movement feels more fluid and active thanks to the evade move. First introduced by Diablo 3, the evade button feels more integrated into the sequel. Certain enemies transmit attacks that allow players to dart away in response. The developers claim that as players gain experience, different alternatives to dodge and avoid, for example, being able to buy d2r items do multiple dodges at the same time, can be deactivated.
