If you've got a Kindle Fire, but want to be able to use your Amazon-connected printer, the SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive ($69.90 at Amazon)(Opens in a new window) is a worthy addition. It contains the same capacity and uses the same (and still fairly solid) SanDisk Wi-Fi range extenders, but it'll take a phone dock for charging. We set it up and plugged it into our Kindle Fire, and it worked flawlessly. Check out Cody's detailed preview in his much longer review.
Also on sale is the SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive 2 ($99.90 at Amazon), featuring an additional 1300mAh of power inside, so you can charge up your Kindle Fire while the drive is connected.
This device attached to an Android phone, and served as a storage device when the phone was offline, where it would have been hard pressed to outpace an Android phone connected to a data network. You can set the Wi-Fi hotspot to connect automatically upon connection, with an optional password. While this quality may make the flash drive worth the Kindle Fire is a standalone device, once you install the Fire's apps, you're unlikely to need the driver. 7211a4ac4a
